Description	This 20 second audio clip is of a male (bull) elk bugling or bellowing. This sound is usually heard in the fall as the male elk are in rut, competing with other male elk for access to female (cow) elk for mating. It is a sound that is often used as an iconic reference to the wild. Elk congregate in herds and usually need connected habitat areas to migrate between summer and winter forage areas. Deer family.
