Safeguarding Wildlife from Climate Change - NWF/NCTC Webinar Series. There is strong interest in on-the-ground climate adaptation conservation, but very little practical guidance is available and even fewer examples of case studies have been implemented and described. The Wildlife Conservation Society, with funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, directs the Climate Adaptation Fund to encourage and support on-the-ground projects promoting wildlife adaptation to climate change. This webinar will provide an overview of this grant program including announcing the 2012 grant awards, review the application process and goals of the program, and explore and discuss two examples of climate adaptation work currently underway.
